I heard you on WLS the other day and thought I'd help you. When we creamated my mom, they picked up her body at her home, dressed her and brought her to the church for a memorial service and waited till service was completed, they ordered two bouquets of flowers, placed the memorial in 3 newspapers, gave us memorial cards and memorial thank you cards around 250, provided the Urn, ordered the death certificates and we signed over her life insurance policy valued at $5,000.00 to them. They brought her back to the creamatory and called us to pick up the urn when completed. So I thought that might help you price yours. if you are including the urn to be stored at the park in the vines I'd add another $2,000 or so to your price of $5,000.00 Just thought I'd offer a suggestion Good luck
Hi and thanks for writing. It's a shame how many people get "ripped off" in this industry. That's why I'm keeping my prices as fair as possible. I'm not doing this to take advantage of people. I'm doing it so that the Cubs fans that pass on, will feel comfortable in familiar surroundings, Their family members will know their loved one's are in a place that brought so much joy to them when they were on this earth. Thanks again for your opinion.
All the best,
Fans Forever
Dear Mr. Mascari, Wow-you must have heard my cries over my father's ashes! My dad was a huge Cubs fan, born and raised in Chicago, and before he passed last October 2007, he asked his wife to have his ashes divided between my brother and myself. One half he wanted scattered in a park we went to often as kids growing up in California. The other half he wanted scattered around Wrigley Field. But where? In the streets? Not to mention it's illegal! So dad has been sitting in his 'box' on the bench by our front door. He didn't want a wake, a memorial, any service or even obituary in the paper. In fact, I was just talking to a friend the day I saw your story on the news, and she said I really need to do something and grieve my father because I'm holding it all in. I guess without any formal 'good-bye’s', I don't know how to mourn him. So I am very excited about your plans, and very sorry about some of those sick comments people made on the site. How do I go about this? I know the site won't be complete until the fall, and there are limited 'spaces'. How can I secure a place? Send a down payment? Please let me know the logistics when you can. Thank you.

Dennis, I grew up in California (still live here) and became a "Die Hard" fan when my hero, Ron Cey signed with the Cubs. The Orange County Register (our newspaper) printed the article from the AP in today's paper. I like what you're doing and wondering if there is certain criteria to be intered? Like being a Chicago resident? Been to Wrigley several times and wished each time I lived in the greatest city in the country. Continued success in the endeavor my friend! Go Cubs!

If a Cubs fan can't live to see them win the World Series, I guess this is the next best thing.
